Clad awarded excellent scores in Achilles UVDB Verify Category A

Clad has received the scores from our Achilles UVDB Verify audit for 2017-2018, and achieved incredible results.

We maintained our high scores across our audited areas of Health & Safety (95%) and Environment (89%) and have further improved our Quality score by 6% on last year, to a near-perfect 98%!

What is Achilles?

Achilles is one of the world’s leading global supply chain risk management companies.

They collect, validate and maintain essential supplier data through an online questionnaire.

This allows buying organisations to build a picture of the risks present within their supply chain and implement measures to protect their business, people, planet and profit.

What is Achilles UVDB?

Achilles UVDB (Utilities Vendor Database) helps utility companies manage risk within their supply chain and comply with EU Procurement Legislation.

Through the industry pre-qualification questionnaire, suppliers who register with Achilles UVDB must demonstrate their capability to meet the industry and legislative requirements.

The UVDB Verify audit and assessment is undertaken independently by Achilles and provides a further rigorous assessment of a supplier’s risk, with a particularly strong focus on demonstrable compliance to Safety, Health, Environment and Quality (SHEQ) requirements.

Achilles accreditation is required by a number of Utilities companies and their principal contractors.

Over 30 Utilities and more than 35 of their contracting partners use the UVDB system to qualify their supply chain through a standard assessment of their management systems and site performance.
